I was very surprised at some of the choices - but I agree with these!

# 21 -- Drive - Alan Jackson -2000

# 15 -- It's Five O'Clock Somewhere - Alan Jackson - 2003

# 1 - Where Were You When The World stopped Turning - Alan Jackson - 2001

I am so happy that Alan got #1.  It's about time somebody recognized him - especially CMT.
I loved the picks although there were many to choose from.

Many of the songs, however, I never heard of, and could not understand how they got
picked.  Weird!!!

Most lists of this sort are very subjective, but I believe there is no agrument from anyone on the #1 choice - it could be nothing else except Where Were You.
Love that he had three on the list - but I think Remember When should have been on the list also.  JMO

I agree that "Remember When" should have been on that list also.  I could go on
forever about Alan.  I can't wait till he comes back to Michigan or Windsor maybe
next year after Australia.  He is so popular with all of us here.  I even flew to CT
to see him with my daughter who lives there.  Had to use a wheel chair but the
enjoyment was the same.  We had great seats too.  I just have to have an elevator.
My second favorite fun song is:  "Where I Come From".  The crowd here loves it too.

Great picks .... so agree WWY is the song of the decade.  All lists are subjective but it's hard to argue against WWY as being the number one song.  I learned something new today about the song Drive, I didn't realize Denise convinced Alan to rewrite the ending -teaching his daughter's to drive.  Was surprised Remember When didn't make it but was happy three of his songs were acknowledged.

Alan had 3 songs on the list- I can't see anyone else who had 3 songs. So glad Drive was there as this song means so much to Alan. And I believe It's 5 O Clock Somewhere was #1 for 7 weeks making it one if his most popular songs. And of course Where Were You is right where it belongs at #1. I think CMT did a good job of picking these songs.
