Is anyone familiar with the Pancho Villa  Pavilion  at Celebrate Virginia in Fredericksburg?  We  have 2 nd row seats in Platinum area , but will  the Pit  ticket  people block our view?  The seating chart I pulled up does not show Pit spaces, but there were Pit tickets for sale at same price of Platinum sections.

I also wondered if one needed to be a member of both the AJ Fan Club and the Hall of Fame.....Also, read there is a limit of two, which I understand because of the small venue.  However, I need 3 tickets.  We ( my son and daughter and me) have had plans to be in Nashville the week of the 22 concert for some time.  I've just been waiting for opportunity to get tickets  for this concert!  Not  sure what we'll do.  Since my daughter is going with me to the concert in Virginia, she might have to miss the one in Nashville....or maybe she can join the fan club.  She's always liked AJ and has all his music....
Anyway, I'm excited about the Nashville trip, being with my adult children, and possibly seeing this intimate concert!

My daughter and I have 2 nd row seats for the Celebrate Virginia concert on  the 23rd...I noticed there were also Pit tickets at the same price.   I will be so disappointed  if we can not see because of a group of people standing in the Pit....When did this start?  I 've been  to 4 concerts this past year and did not see this happening.   Maybe it is the venues doing  this?....Something  definitely needs to be done!  And, I just renewed my membership in the Fan Club !!! I will be in Nashville October 22 and had planned to try to get a ticket  to AJ's performance at the CMHOF...... the presale starts on September 5. 
If I start having trouble seeing when I pay for premium seats, I am not going to be a happy fan!!!

At the concert I attended in April,   AJ did his old music....NO  Gospel or Bluegrass......
As always, he was great!

 :)Gosh, I hope he's performing on October 22 at the CMHOF....I'll be in Nashville that week and am staying downtown near there.      I think the number of people the CMHOF venue holds is limited,  isn't it?   Hope I can get tickets  if he performs.....Looking forward to my visit to Nashville and am  excited about seeing AJ's exhibit.   i haven't been to Nashville  in quite a few years.

I agree, BigHuskersRed!  I think Alan does appreciate his fans and, as he said on CMT Awards Show, feels blessed.  If there is anything he can do to keep ticket prices down for fans, he will.  But, I don't think he has complete control over this.
At the same time, I can  understand the frustration and disappointment that CarolID36 and others experienced on this occasion.   
I do truly believe Alan cares about his fans and will do what HE  can to make his concerts affordable for them!

Yes, I'm in NC...Raleigh area....Both my children live in NC.   My husband was from SC.....I know some people in SC  and am familiar with some of the state.  Like you, I wish Alan would come there or come back to NC.....
My sister lives in VA, so I manage to get to some of his concerts there and also visit her.

Weddings can be a BUSY time....Hope all goes well.....

I'm  looking forward to the Fredericksburg concert!

My next concert is  AJ at Celebration Virginia in Fredericksburg on August 23.   My daughter, who has a huge CD collection, including many of Alan Jackson's,  will be going with me.   I just saw Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss in Cary, N. C. a few weeks ago.....great concert, but I've  been to 4 of AJ's concerts this year!    They are the best!!!   I'm looking forward to AJ's  25 th anniversary tour......Hope to get to at least one concert.   Also, I hope to make a trip to Nashville in the fall. 
Exciting things happening for Alan and his fans....I'm proud to be an Alan Jackson  fan!!!!!!

I, too,  am very sad about no more M&Gs   But, I'm  sure there is a very good reason for this decision. Guess I'll have to be happy just seeing/hearing AJ on stage at his concerts.  Looking forward to his "Celebrate Virginia" concert August 23....will continue to be a fan of him and his music!!!
