I talked to Danny of the Strayhorns today. I ask about Denise and he said she found a lump but it was not cancer. Thank goodness. Said she was doing good. Anything like this can be so frightening and I pray everything will be OK.

I wanted to clarify my above statement.....When I ask Danny about Denise (He not realizing we fans had not heard the news of her cancer) he was obviously speaking about the present about Denise being cancer free. I appologize for the miss information. After seeing the Backstory with Alan and Denise we now know. I will continue praying that Denise is healed from this horrible disease.

I zoomed his picture in and I believe he still has his mustache.......looks to be trimmed closer.....Either way he is gorgeous :-)

Miamirad, Thank You so much for starting this thread! My Uncle Fred in Florida was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, Stage 3. All prayers will be appreciated as he is on several local church prayer lists. My Uncle Fred and Aunt Helen went with me to UCF arena in Orlando to see AJ. That was the night Alan autographed a guitar and give it to the little girl in front of me.  So cool..... They had a blast!!! I will be praying for others on the thread listed plus anyone else in need. Thanks so much!!!!

Jeri, I really think you would enjoy facebook. Alan's Fan Club has a facebook with up to date articles and comments from us crazy fans.  It's free and if you don't like it you can remove yourself.  I really think you will like it, it does get addicting. Also I love to go on Monty's page, he always has pics on there. You just have to friend him and anyone else you want as a friend. It's pretty cool !!! I think you should consider it, at least try it out. Like I said it's FREE

What an amazing performance!!!! Loved LeeAnn and Alan together. She has a beautiful voice and of course Alan's voice is just heavenly. Just watching the expressions from George and his wife you could tell they were thrilled that their friend Alan was there performing. I didn't quite see that with any of the other artists. Just my opinion!!!! Of course I'm partial to Alan myself, LOL  Great Performance Alan, I know you made George proud!!!!!
