Sharon- Glad to know your grand-daughter is OK. Sounds like it was a close call.
On a lighter note I was really glad to see University of South Carolina get into the SEC Title Game. That is just great.

Nelle, it is good to see you posting.

Hello Elaine, Kathy, Jeri, & JeanB.

I am improving a little each day & so glad to be back on the board with you folks.

Morning Y'all,
So good to see your posts Harriet.  You were missed.

I'm glad you were happy for USC.  I am a CLEMSON fan and I didn't really know how much of one until this year!  The gamecocks are so COCKY!  That's their mascot and they really are.  Seriously, I am happy for the University, I am a SC alumni....but my blood runs orange.  Clemson and Carolina will be playing Nov. 27th!  That is a rivalry of all rivalries!!!  Jerry and I were so disappointed with the Clemson loss to FSU., but stuff happens.  I did miss the outstanding field goal that FSU made.

Nelle, good to see you positing too.

Serina, my gd, called me on the phone yesterday.  I was shocked, it was so good to talk with her.  She may be released today.  We got a picture yesterday, shocking facial stitches, etc.  She is a miracle!

Thank y'all for your prayers and please continue, Serina has a ways to go for sure.

Three more days, do I sound anxious?  LOL!  Didn't get a M&G email, so I guess I'll just have to settle for maybe getting an autograph.  I am planning on seeing Monty, so that's a plus too!

Y'all have a wonderful Tuesday.

Hi Dear Friends,

Sharon, good to read that the dr. could take hubby's kidney stint away.
So sorry about your graddaughter. Thanks God she is doing better. I keep her in my prayers.

Nelle, good to see you posting again.

Harriet, glad to read you're recover good. This weekend Kevin Van Der Perren was 6th. in the Grand Prix figure skating in Portland, Oregon. Japanese Takahashi won, USA skaters Mahbanoozadeh (?) and Rippon were 3 and 4.

Elaine, hope that Georgie isn't too sick and that he's already recovered.

This weekend was terrible in Belgium. It was raining day and night from Friday morning till Sunday night! With floods everywhere all over the country, 3 people died. Our village was safe but a few hours of more rain and the brook, who is just behind the corner of my street, has flooded. In our region everything is OK now, but beside the rivers and chanals the water is still coming in the houses. Everybody in Belgium has a insurance but ... what a mess!

Today i finished my wallpaper in my bedroom. Very nice paper, light green. Very restful when sleeping !!! lol.

Enjoy the day everybody and take care.

Jean

JeanB- I watched SkateAmerica on NBC but they did not show Kevin's skate. Guess I should be watching Universal Sports. I was aware he came in 6TH. That's great for him to skate well enough to be in the final group.

Sharon- My team Georgia Tech, is not having a good year. Our star quarterback has broken his arm & is out for the season. I belive your Clemson Tigers did beat us. If we can beat UGA we will go for a bowl game but right now we are 5-5.
Believe me the rivalry between UGA & GA Tech is as fierce as any in the country- we play them on Thanksgiving night.
Added Serina to my prayer list.

Nelle- so glad to see you post.

Elaine- Sorry Georgie got sick.

Hi Leslie- Not sure if I will ever go to another concert. This all started with the fall after Alan's April concert. Hubby & I have talked about stopping going to concerts. That is because nothing is worth what I have been through though I did really enjoy seeing Alan in April & seeing George Strait, Reba & Lee Ann Womack in Feb. We have to seriously consider this.

Thanks, Lou. I am glad to be back to the board.

Hi Y'all,
Thanks for all the prayers for Serina.  She made it home Tuesday and from what my daughter says she is doing as well as can be expected.  She does get up to eat and is not in a special bed.  They do have a chair for the shower and Karen (my daughter) has to dress her wound.  Her father took a picture with his cell phone when he was at the hospital and it was sent to us.  Poor Serina, she is stapled up right down the middle of her face.  She broke her nose and injuried her left eye.  She did not lose the sight in that eye (another prayer answered).  I am not ashamed to ask for your continued prayers.

Jerry is now having problems with his teeth.  Seems that he is grinding them at night.  I told him I thought it was probably sinuses too!  I know last year I thought I had an abcessed tooth and it was my sinuses.  We are so wonderfully made and all these different parts!

Harriet, I understand completely about your feelings after your fall.  After the time in Nashville at the Cadillac Ranch, I made up my mind that no MAN was worth that especially at my age!  I really cut down on my concert going and am only going to concerts that are close.  Of course Jerry wondered if I was going to Australia!  LOL!

Hope UGA gets a bowl bid.  Don't think Clemson will and of course Carolina is crowing all over the place!  LOL!  Sure hope we beat them on the 27th!

Glad Georgie is better Elaine.  Sorry to hear he was sick.

JeanB, so sorry about the flooding in your country.  Has it ever flooded at your home?  Had a house flood once in Hollywood, FL!  Unbelievable damage that water can do.  Didn't watch the skating Sunday, saw it on t.v., but we must have been watching something else.

Goodnight to all, my eyes are beginning to get sleepy!
