The CMT Awards-

I don't know which cities Comcast cut off the last half hour...just read that
they did.

Listened for an hr or more last week to Joe Nichols' fan club party thru a
webcast. It was really Great!  When the fans did not have a question
ready for the Q and A section, he would pull out some cards with his own
questions.  When he asked, 'Well, how did you all like the CMT Music Awards
this week?'  You could have heard a pin drop!  I was so taken aback because
that was just so astounding.  One woman yelled with glee... but overall they
just sat there and looked at him.  They are loyal Joe fans and you know he
wasn't there on the stage that nite and that was their bottom line. I was so
proud of them for not pretending there was some good in that show.  I mean
there was Some good but I was glad for Joe to see their reaction so fresh
from it just having happened.

I was disappointed that Alan wasn't there, too.  The CMT Awards show this year seemed to lack some class. It was a silly show, to say the least. Not that I don't like Kid Rock, but it is the COUNTRY music television awards. I did enjoy many of the performances. In my opinion, Alan should be nominated and win every time!  Now he's country!

It just seemed so disorganized.. but Country Music seems to be a mixture now days of Country pop- Southern Country..
alternative Country,You name it ha! Thank God for those like Alan who know Good Country Music. Some are really good but the CMT show didn't seem to run well and the sound on some. Not sure what it was. some was lack of talent ha!
Brooks And Dunn Last Rodeo went so smooth, Thank God it went wonderful! So glad I can watch it over.
I hope they record that show and repeat it later for people to see.. It was fantastic!
I'm always disappointed when  Alan is not there to sing at least but he must have had a concert. not sure..
