I hope you all have a great time. I am so mad that I messed this one up. Does anyone know if tickets on other sites are reputable or not? Even though this concert is now sold out on the Ryman site (except for VIP), I have found tickets elsewhere but afraid to buy them. Let me know. Thanks so much.
Brenda, it says SOLD OUT on Alan's site except for VIP. I would not buy them from anyone else myself.

Thanks Jeri, that's what I was thinking, after reading the Ryman's ticket policy. I really am mad at myself about losing out on this one. I did get his book today & it's great!

Have any of you seen Alan at the Ryman?   Do they let you leave your seat and go down front like they do at his other shows?

Bostonhonkytonk, I have been to the GOO when A. J. was there. They let us go sit on the floor in front of the stage when he came out. But this one is different so I'm not certain they will let us go up front.

This is funny, at least I thought it was. One time a bunch of us went to sit on the floor when A. J. was at the GOO.  We had our camera's ready to take some pics.  When they opened the curtain, it was another person on stage, (won't say who), we all felt really silly. Had to crawl back to our seats, and wait for A. J. to come out on stage.

Dot - that's so funny!  Something I'd do, too.

I wasn't sure how they handled people going up to the rail at the Ryman.  The 2 times I saw him I sat in my seat and they let everyone come close.  I had great seats both times so I didn't mind sitting too much.   I'd like to go down front this time since I"m travelling so far to see him.  I want to bring my Sweetbriar book for him to sign from the stage if possible.

Can't wait for March 20th!!!!!  Woooo Hoooo!!!!

Counting the days.....

I have gone to the Ryman and GOO several times and close seats. I could almost touch Alan but sometimes at the GOO, they are filming(GAC) and you can't get close, or you might get hit by the camera's following the Singer & Band. I did walk down to take photos, however. Now I can't walk alone, so that is out .Hubby will most likely take photos,
he hasn't been told we are going yet lol. I'm looking forward to going, I hope he drives me, or he loses money LOL
The New GOO is nice and I love the Ryman! I need to get out after having been ill for so long "Woo Hoo" is right!

if you are in the balcony, they don't always let you go 'down to the rail'...
they don't sign from the Opry stage usually, either..

I am thrilled to know a few of you are going down. It's a great cause
and that is so good to know AJ is headlining it.

I wish you all safe travels!!

Thanks for the info for the Ryman show.  My seats were bought during the pre-sale so hopefully they're good.

I'm thinking of buying tix. to see him at the Opry a couple of nights after the Ryman.  It doesn't look like it's just him performing - that others will perform, too.  Anyone know?  I know Opry shows used to be like a variety show but I probably won't go if Alan's only performing a couple of songs.

The Oak Ridge Boys have signed up for the March 22nd GOO show.  I have seen Alan there (front row & mezzanine seats) and there were numerous acts both times. I don't think there is a bad seat. We had an amazing time each visit. I am so bummed that I didn't get tickets to the Ryman show. I think there will be other performers, but believe Alan will perform more songs there than at the GOO 2 nights laters.  From now on I am signing up for tickets and not waiting on my friends to get back with me. If it weren't for that I would be there and begging my husband to stay 2 more days for the GOO show also. LOL
