I have just found out that Alan will playing the Clay County Fair on 09/18. I am so excited. This is the first time I will not have to travel over two hours to see him. Tickets for the show go on sale on 06/22. I have been trying to find out if there will be preferred seating available through the fan club. I emailed yesterday but have not received a reply so I thought I would try the message boards for an answer. I would prefer to order via the fan club as I have gotten fantastic seats before using the preferred seat sale and ticket ordering for through the fair website is hit and miss. I appreciate any help I can get with this question.

Jean, on the Australian concerts last March the AJFC provided a direct and private link to its members. you could purchase the tickets 7 days before they went on sale to the public. I've gotten row 4 and 5 dead centre at both Brisbane concerts..
But when I went to his 2009 European concerts in Bergen-Norway, these things weren't available.. they were standing concerts only in the super big open venue and we're all packed like the sardines in the pouring rain!

That is disappointing, but I guess I am not surprised. A fair is different from an arena concert venue. I am going to call the fan club office just to make sure, but I think I will be taking my chances in the general sale on the 22nd. Thanks for the input.

Mrs. Reynolds, you should find contact info in your fan club packet. Everything is done through the fan club. You should also find an e-mail contact here on the web site somewhere. Log in and then click on the "fan club" link above. That is probably where you will find it maybe. Good luck!

Hello. I am new to the Fan Club so i don't know the procedures. When i attempt to access tickets for either preferred or wherever the site says i have chosen unavailable options or some such. I am guessing this is a system glitch. Specifically i am looking for the Las Cruces and/or Red Rock shows.

Hello, I am involved in forming a committee of people to revitalize the downtown district of my home town. It is a very quaint historic place that is plagued by closed storefronts, etc. and we are implementing many Ideas to restore the vibrant community it once was. There is a line in One of Alan's hit songs that we would like to use as a city motto, and I was curious if you new how I might be able to go about getting permission to use it.It also seems to me that it would boost his image as well, and there would be a lot of exposure and excitement about his approval in the local newspapers, media etc. Not to mention the fact that it is a great cause to help save an old fashioned American Home town. I know it is very hard to get through to famous people. Please help with any advice! Please help us save our town...Michael Kent
