As everybody knows Alan Jackson is performing with Randy Travis on Randy's new album.
It is not the first time Alan sing with a other artist in duet. A excellent moment for a little poll, i thought.
What are your 5 favorites between these 17 songs that i found ? ... or a other song that i forgot.

Enjoy the poll and have fun.

It was hard to just pick 5 -  It's a shame some of these weren't released as singles - think they could of done something on the charts.

Interesting poll, Jean. Thanks for starting it. Here's my top 5, which includes two Christmas songs from Alan's Honky Tonk Christmas album:
1) You Ain't Whistling Dixie (with the Bellamy Brothers)
2) A Good Year For The Roses (with George Jones)
3) Murder On Music Row (with George Strait)
4) The Angels Cried (with Alison Krauss)
5) There's A New Kid In Town (with Keith Whitley)

Jean, please note: Don't Close your Eyes was not recorded by Alan as a duet with KW. He recorded the cover to it for  the tribute album to Keith Whitley. Also, The Angels Cried, I think, is the most beautiful non-standard Christmas song ever recorded and I love how Alan's and Alison's voices blended well on it. I'd love for them to record a country duet song as well, much like Alison did with Brad Paisley. I also would love to hear and see Alan and the the Bellamy Brothers do their duet live on tv or concert. I think that would be cool. I fell in love with that song the first time I heard it.

It was hard to choose, but I did it. He needs to put out a duet CD...yeehaw! We'd all love that!

Sharon, Hi
I hope you are doing well. You are so busy and never seem to slow down. Golf sounds nice and you are good at it sounds like. So nice to read you are doing things that help you.I thought Tiger would do well for a while at the masters, but his luck didn't continue. I still think of him as a Great in Golf & wish him well.
can't pick 5 favorites.. I love all of Alan's music equally. It's like picking your favorite child, can't do it!
I do love the Bellamy Bros Song, as I identify with it. When my husband worked reallyreally late late in the Military , I often told him to "whistle Dixie" before opening the door, for his safety lol.
He did this every night, back when ha! This song reminds me of that..Alan w/Alison Krauss is always a favorite.Still love"A Good Year For The Roses", Alan can sing w/ George Jones easily, they sound great together.Loved "Murder On Music Row"
and it even seems appropriate now at times, but it was THE time for it then.."It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" seems very popular here in FL on Radio, lots of Alan fans & Buffett also.Plus portions were shot here, I believe.I know the bar scene
was shot at  the castaways marina,Square grouper, with college students. It's not that far down from us..Love that Video! Take care to all of you, Jerrie-MS  A duet for Alan would be nice..But with a new partner..some good drinking , cheating, Loving, family songs would be great! Songs that anyone identifys with, not just Alan..Perhaps a Military salute for his Dad, being in the Navy would be good now with all the wars etc.etc etc..
