Great Concert for a good cause. We drove from Florida to see Alan Perform & contribute to the Counrty Music Hall of Fame;
But we got a huge surprise with a Special Concert featuring songs by all the Artists, it was All great.. Alan looking and sounding great as usual. My husband remarked how Happy Alan looked. It was great to see his smiling face and hearing him with the other Singers as backup. Strange to not see the StrayHorns w/Alan. What a Thrill to be backed up with THE Keith Urban, a Great guitarist and singer, and Vince Gill. a band played for all the performers and good, I might add.
What a great Show! we were in a Venue that we weren't familar with, but we were very comfortable on the ground floor
they had people checking to make sure everyone was fine. There was no gross people drinking or shoving or pushing.
The Venue was near our Hotel , so we parked early and went in some of the places near the Venue.. The Palm being one..
dropped by Wild Bills etc.. and worked our way to the door at showtime. very easy to access and get to your seat.
Parking was no problem, we were right near the front door by coming early. A Great Concert that may never all be together again. I enjoyed all the Singers, fromThe Great Keith Urban, Mr All American, Vince Gill, and the vivacious Dolly Pardon Showed w/ class & she was great!,Great Performer! also Guitarist John Mayer,Love his work too. Miranda Lambert did her "The House that Built Me",etc was great!, Billy Currington did "People Are Crazy",etc great performance!!,Great work.
Favorites Alan Jackson did "Chattahoochee" got the crowd really up!, & a Hank Williams song, great performance, loved it..people really let out a yell for Alan ! Oh my ears are still ringing ha! I yelled but my husband reminded me, "do You Think He Heard That in a crowd of 20,000", or about,,Sorry I almost forgot, also the  the Martina McBride performance! great to see her also!
So nice to see The Creat Legend Charlie Pride, he did his, "Kiss An Angel Good Morning" etc.. I was so glad to see him and he looked Great as he ages.that soft wonderful voice..so humble and nice..Vince and Keith and all the Singers are to be commended for a  great Concert of many Singers. Oh yes!, the great Alison Krauss... she was wayyy funny , love her!!
Here is what we saw, Click the photos(AJ is #9) and you can see the different people there. They were all terrific..
I would have perferred Alan do another of Hank Williams Sr but Alan said "They wanted me to do this one by Hank" so he did what they ask. He was smiling with that pretty scroll work shirt w/jeans and Lt hat on,Looking Great as Usual and sounding great! My Husband made photos, but this link shows most of them.So tired after driving back. The Venue was filled, I hope they raised a Huge amount of money for the Hall of Fame Click Photo and Enjoy..we contributed a lot to get these tickets!I got aT-Shirt with all the Singers listed on the back to remember this event, we attended. Anxious to see how much money was raised for the CM Hall Of Fame.

Thanks Everyone and we were so busy watching the show, the photos were a bit dark and frankly I was so tired driving back from Nashville to Jax, we didn't try lighten them, but maybe you can see a bit of this marvelous Concert.

I am exhausted, especially after our son and family came by yesterday and the little ones were so sweet but "granny"
is not used to that much running,Love my son and so proud of his sweet family. They are home now , I know tired too after driving straight through, to near Nashville.

The Concert at the Bridgestone Arena was just wonderful! All of it done with such class and they all seemed to really be enjoying themselves
and the Singers having Keith Urban and Vince Gill back them up and others too, well it was just super  awesome to us.

I hope you enjoy the photos and I wanted to get them on asap , where you fans could see photos.
Anxious to hear how much money was raised. If anyone hears, please let me know. Thanks
Jerrie-MS

PS- News trucks were out in front.. Fox News etc.. all local radio stations, so I hope we may get to see it on TV later too!
keep watchout and maybe you can see it also.

Jeri -

Enjoyed your review and photos.  I'm so happy that you & hubby were able to make the trip.  Your photos were great ... if you don't mind sharing, what kind of camera were you using?  I'm thinking of getting one that takes better pictures than the one I have.  I'm so caught up in the concert (to take pictures of poor quality), but if I could get good ones it would be worth it.

Jeri, I'm a late responding, I don't check everyday like I should. Glad you had a good time seeing A. J. and the other country singers.  Thanks for the review.  I will check the pics out later, don't have time right now. I am packing to go on a week end trip.
Don't you just love Bridgestone Arena?
