Yippppieeeee!!!!! Thanks so much for this info, Beth. I've been trying to find where I can buy a copy of the soundtract album of the movie, "Cowboy Up," where Alan sang "Ring of Fire." I'll most definitely buy this compiliation album. I've heard Alan's soundtract version of "Ring of Fire" from some online site but the audio was not very good. I read comments about it from the same site too that were all positive. One poster asked who it was singing "Ring of Fire" in the soundtract and then went on to say that he liked Alan's singing of it better than Johnny Cash's. When another poster anwered him that it was Alan, he said he didn't know who Alan is but that Alan should have originally recorded that song instead of Johnny Cash. Didn't know then how to take that one. . .compliment to Alan or an insult to/disrespectful of Johnny Cash. . .and still don't know now. Can't wait to listen to listen to it. .  .and "Look At Me" as well. . .and, of course, the whole album. This is very exciting!!!!!

Thanks again, Beth! You made my day (or night?)

BHR

PS - Just saw this from MusicRow mag. site and it has a picture of this new album's cover.

Sounds like it will be a great album.Does this mean Alan did not sign a contract with Artista? I think the album cover would have looked better with a photo of that handsome blond guy.

Yikes, sorry I didn't see this was already posted. Now it's on the forum twice. Guess that can't hurt.
