Never Loved Before - Why No Single Release

I just cannot believe this really great, rocking, counrtry song was never released as a Single?? It certianly would have been a #1 for Allen. Can anyone who, knows or cares, tell why?
Bill a fan since he opened for Clint Black in Buffalo.

Who can figure what gets released - in my opinion there were several off GoodTime that I would have picked vs Bologna - they didn't ask me.  BTW gailbill - fan since he opened for Clint Black in Buffalo - the guy spells his name A-L-A-N - sorry but proper name spelling is a big one with me - :>)
