With the ACM Awards coming upon us, I thought these with you all. The first is one of the more memorable and funny Alan moment at the ACM Awards shows of the past years. A lot of you will probably remember when Alan co-hosted the ACM with Reba McEntire and his now infamous performance of "Gone Country" on that show with his drummer playing the drums sans his drumsticks. Alan was protesting the fact that he was told to use his record rather than doing real singing because of the poor sound system they were using then. So he told his drummer to play the drums without the drumsticks. It was quite funny.

This second one is a list of of songs that had a record run on #1 at the Billboard Chart. Alan have 3 songs and the most of all the artists listed, to include Taylor Swift. Can you all guess what the songs are? Looking at this boggles my mind that the CMHOF hasn't inducted him yet.

i have that no drumsticks performance on a vcr tape. I used to record all the award shows on vcr. the best one is when alan did Chattahoochee on a awards show when it was new on the charts. the place went nuts. it was a great performance, the whole crowd loved it.

Cheesy Grin

Let's remember to wish Alan a huge Happy Birthday on October 17th.  Hope he is a very happy man as he has made all of us very happy.         Special wish for handicapped me -(selfish). Please Alan - come to Casino Windsor or the Palace of Auburn Hills this year.  I must have an elevator and miss seeing you.  I saw you at Casino Windsor on September 5,2014.

Alan Jackson should be in the Hall of Fame of Country Music.   Cheesy    They seem to be ignoring him to a point where if a person were a bit paranoid, they might just think that there's a bit of PAYOLA  going on with the H of F.HuhHuhHuhHuh??

Anyone agree?

He is by far the best!!!
