I've just found this while surfing country music sites I visit frequently. Nice write up, although they erred on the year in the headline box. . .2012 instead of 2014 (oooops! ), and includes some of the music videos Alan did in his country music career. They also included the now infamous clip of Alan singing as a contestant in the tv singing talent show, "YOU CAN BE A STAR" in 1985.

Thanks so much for this clip of Alan. One could tell then, Alan Jackson was going to be  "A Star.
