hi, sunday night like most americans i watched the n.y giants win the superbowl. im from n.y. state. i didnt pay much attention to maddona's halftime show, but monday morning on the news they said one of the singers did something obscene on national television. didnt see it , but why? first janet jackson had a " wardrobe malfunction " and i think last year when the black eyed peas performed there was a crotch grab by a male in the group. now this. is this what america wants to see at a huge sporting event like the superbowl? let a top country artist do the show ( one that i have in mind) he could get the place shakin with a couple of foot stompin hit songs. and im sure his performance would be whithout incident.  rickm.

If the NFL had been really smart, they would have booked Hank Jr. for this year's Super Bowl half time show!!!

I can Understand why my daughter doesn't let her girls watch TV often now and continue their Good Study Habits . It's so disgusting with the moral decay of this Country. Each one of us can Only do our part, to make it a Better World for our Society, our Children & Families.Anywhere Children or young people are around, at least we should be able to provide Good clean Fun for Everyone, In Sports especially..If Everyone could just be Civil would be a help..sorry for Preaching lol

Oh!! I would love to have Alan and others like Keith Urban, Vince Gill, Dierks Bently etc..we saw sing together at the Bridgestone Arena, just have  a Good  Halftime show! At least you would see Good Clean Fun and with Alan, and his Jamming friends! YeeHaw!!!!!!!!!

Rick, didn't see it either, though I did see the bluring of the artist's hand. . .MIA is her name. Aaaah...yes, the well intended use of the middle finger thing and profanity. It's another show of unclassy attitude and character from another pop-rock arist. I honestly don't know what they're hoping to gain by doing those indecent acts. They certaily are not making themselves look good or appealing to their audience, that's for sure.

Brenda and Jeri, I have to agree with you both. Country acts should be invited to do the Superbowl half time show. I'm also thinking of Gath Brooks Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Vince Gill, Scotty McCreery, Trisha Yearwood, Reba, Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Taylor Swift, Jimmy Buffet and George Strait along with Alan. Put them all together in the same stage and you'll have a real super and clean fun entertainment.

IndianaNative, not meaning to offend. Not sure about Hank Jr. doing the halftime show. He's a bit controversial himself. :-)

I wasn't home during the Super Bowl here in Indy, but did attend the activities downtown just a few days prior and am happy to say how proud I am of the job Indianapolis, and us Hoosiers, did hosting this great event. Mother nature helped by giving us record high temperatures for February. It was lucky for everyone there.
