This was the worst show I have seen on the AMA's. Doesn't talent count for anything.I slept through most of it, so I don't guess Zac Brown Band won..Hey! They have talent. It was only geared for the young.
I guess they just do not recognize talent, nowdays, a shame. What is our World coming to! It used to be about song lyrics,
now it's who's most popular..or Rap, Just so disappointed. I am so Thankful for the Days of RESPECT in music, my era.
Congrats to LadyA~-- also Taylor Swift for her Lyrics. The one I like is "TearDrops On My Guitar"

I have to agree with you Jeri. I only made it half way thru the program. It was more like the American Rap Awards (of witch a few country artist have adopted). I too like to understand the words the artist sing. So kudos to Katy Perry for just standing and singing her song. Congrats to Lady A and Taylor Swift. I am a big fan of Taylor mainly because of her songwriting ability. She is also an admirer of Alan. It would be great to have them write a song and sing it together. It would be a great colaboration.

Didn't watch it but I agree that Alan and Taylor in a duet would be good.  It would be like Alan and Allison Krause.
