Alan said she was Jenny Cain?
Think that was the name.
The choreographer of the dance.

The "yakkers" were also the "drinkers".
They just kept going in and out.
And there were about 3 of them each time.
And they talk about women going in groups. LoL

Was good to see you last night Betty!
Gracie too.
She was grown so much.
I remember when she was just a Little Bitty thing.

We didn't spend the night.
I drove back home and didn't get there until after 2am.
Had my alarm set for 4:30am for work.
Made it my 8 hours though.
Exhusted now.

I got my laminate from the Christmas taping signed.
My brother got an autograph.
A little girl I was holding up at the stage got her ticket signed and Alan handed her a ticket personally!
She was SO shy.
Earlier in the show she wouldn't even hold her hand up for a pic.

I got the first,or one of the first pics of the show and had already given it to her.
Got me one later.

My bro also got a pic.

It was a really good show all around I thought.

Yes,it was the seats #'s I didn't understand for sure.
Quote
wabbit, you have second row, man is she in for a surprise!!.. ha! congrats!
Nope,no surprise there. I understood the 2nd row part and have been there before.
I read this as 3 seats,24,25 and 26.
The surprise was I only purchased 2!

Gotthere and everthing was O.K.,still only had 2 seats.
I was just hoping there was no mix up and I would end up out in the parking lot.LoL

Guessing Cindy had lots of work and numbers to input and just had a typo.
 Thanks Cindy!
Saw you last night oming down the stairs and headed toward the back before Alan's set.
Hollared at ya but guess you were to far away by the time I got that way.

Ran into Betty last night!
And Miss Gracie.

The show was GREAT!
Alan played, and sang, and talked, and threw pics and autographed...

Wish the "yakkers" that were near me would have hushed more during the "stool session".

I ended up taking my brother instead of my s-i-l
It was his 1st AJ show.
He wasn't a big time AJ fan before the show.
I know! Can you believe that?!
He is now!!

I am going to the Lexington show also.

I was in Lexington today.
Wish I could have gone ahead and picked the tickets up.

Once when seeing Alan in Lexington,we were downstairs in the bar before the show.
The local radio station,WBUL,was there.
They were doing give aways including a pair of front row seats.

I haven't received an email saying I have a M&G.
Was SO hoping for one.

And as I've told Harriet via email, we may yet move again. It's neither my hubby's nor my desire to do so but it may come down to us not having any choice. Hubby is being considered to manage another VA clinic here in GA located in a much smaller town than Newnan. . .Blairsville.

I'll be very careful with that Cortisone injection. When hubby hurt his heel (can't remember now if it was the left or the right one) the specialist that treated him also suggested and gave him Cortisone injection. But he also informed him that too much use of it is not good as it doesn't completely dissolve. Praying your shoulder feels better soon.

Nelle. thanks for the compliment on my AJ picture. That is one of my favorite among my collection of AJ photos.

Terry, glad things are working out for you right now, both job and school wise. One thing I don't think I'll ever understand about the census are people who just simply don't want to fill out and return their census form. Why?!? What's wrong with being counted in? Anyway, sorry to hear too that you had to miss this past weekend's (?) concerts.

Hi, Elaine, Dizzy, JeanB, Wabbit and everyone elseI had amiss to mention. Take care everyone and HUGS.

BHR
Hope the move/don't move works out for you.
I will be heading to Lexington on the 19th to take my bro for 2 Dr's appointments at the VA Hospital there.
Then back up o nthe 23rd so Alan can see me.  Wink
I think we will have to go to the Coopertown Hospital and then across town to the LeesTown one also.

I have heard the same thing about those shots. Not to get to many of them.
Hopefully this one will give you relief for a long time. I know they say the time varies too.

I know some people that didn't get Cenus's forms to mail back. They don't have a mailbox at home.
They weren't sent to PO boxes.
My own mailman didn't get one. LoL

This screen is jumping around and I can't see what I am typing, how weird.
Guess that's a hint to stop typing Embarrassed

I'm taking Alan's original cookbook with me tonight to try to get it signed.  I got a signed one from the fan club of the second one
I took my original last year to Corbin. I turned it to the Cornbread recipe page when they did Where I Come From. Alan saw it,pointed to it and nodded his head.

Was in Nashville about a month ago. Took someoneto the airport and spent the night before their flight.
Went shopping at Opry Mills. Drove around the Opryland Hotel.
Hard to believe what it looks like now.
Most of my friends, several in Franklin, were spared. Only got water in yards or starting up their driveways.

They are giving rain for my side of the state, wbout 5 days out of 7 this week.
Hopefully not for the Nashville area.

Need to read back and catch up more......

Thanks for the start of the April thread.
Glad I am not working today, bigger chance for someone to "get" me.

No April Showers today in East TN.
Lil nippy but the sun is shining and they are saying 80 degrees!

Might have to shock the town with my white legs today and break out the shorts.

Off here now to start the day.
Happy Day To All.
14  General Category / Alan Music Discussion / Re: Received my Freight Train CD today. on: April 01, 2010, 07:32:45 am
Well,I finally received my CD yesterday!
Also received a signed print!

Had a 12x12 frame for displaying scrapbook pages, have hd it for several weeks and hadn't opened.
The print fit in it perfectly.
The frame was on sale at Michael's Arts & Crafts for $4.99.

Will have to admit, haven't finished listening to it all of the cd.
Have running to do today, the CD is still in the truck,so guess I will get to the rest today.
