Fantastic seats! I tried seats for the other Chicago show earlier this year and I had row 21 through the fan club. I ended up trading for row 3 because with other standing, I wouldn't see much since I can't stand very long, with my knees.
I hoping we can get tickets somewhere for the show in Rockford. I'll be keeping my eyes on alert for reasonable tickets. Alan's concerts are the greatest. I love how he shows off each band member when they sort sit in a semi circle and they each do their own thing.
Enjoy the concert.

As we get older, we realize how much space do we really need for 2 people and family/guest. Alan and Denise's house was beautiful and the property just as beautiful but I imagine the upkeep and cleaning has to be consuming. Even if Alan and Denise didn't do the work ~ just the responsibility can be overwhelming, when they want to simplify their lives. At least their moving into a home that has been their home for awhile, just not full time.
We're selling our house too, going from 8,000 sq. ft./20 acres to something more manageable. More like 3,600-4,000 sq. ft. I hope our house takes only a year to sell.

BHR ~ Sending strength to help you and your husband get through these hard time with his health issues. Hopefully you'll find a hospital that will accept your husbands insurance. I will say a prayer tonight for you and your husband.

Tammy ~ My thoughts and prayers for you and your father. May he be pain free and be kept comfortable. It's always hard to lose a parent. The people who love you, will help you get through this as all the memories you have of him. Blessings to you and your family, especially your Dad.

Terry, Alan's slight hesitation during GOOD TIME when it was time for the signs caught my attn. It was ever so slight...but those cards have become something I think he sort of depends on... Your choreography works so well for him I think.
Yes, so sorry you could not be here for the IL shows... I also noticed the slight hesitation on the GOOD TIMES song. Last year we had the letters to hold up. I don't know why we didn't bring them this time.

Great reviews everyone, especially a wonderful night for Dee's parents. I bet your Dad is still in heaven from Alan signing his hat.
Great Lakes Kay ~ You wrote a wonderful, heartfelt review. Sad about the story of Andy. may we all remember him in our prayers. Did he say what he was dying from?
We met a lady at the Rosemont concert sitting in the front row, she won from a radio station. Her 15 y/o daughter had a M&G with Alan a few years back while she was sick from a brain tumor. The lady showed us her M&G picture with Alan. When she met him, she asked if she could give Alan a kiss on the cheek and he graciously said yes. The young lady died six months to the day of her M&G. Her mom said meeting Alan was the highlight of her life.
My heart goes out to everyone in the Nashville area. We use to live a block from the Cumberland River in Gallatin. Our old neighborhood was safe from the flooding. Go to the Nashville web site and help however you can. Most of the people didn't have flood insurance. A lot of musicians had equipment stored at a warehouse that was flooded. Sad ~ Sad ~ Sad.

If anyone is interested, I'll make a copy CD of the pictures for you. You'll have to send me your address.
At the concert my seats where. Section 2 ~ row 1, seat 16 or something. Way too far for me to see anything with people standing. We were able to get row 2 for $40.00. I know they state up to row 25 but I wasn't thinking they would be that far back. So glad we were able to find more reasonable tickets closer up. Tickets for the scrapbook, I guess. lol It's amazing how the price of tickets drop at the last minute.
