Hello to everyone.

The Champaign concert was AWESOME!! All three of those guys were real good.  I really enjoyed Josh Turner.  I bought a cd of his years ago and sing to his songs on the radio.  He's funny how he likes to flirt with the crowd.

Alan was the best! I like how he changed the show some.  He does some songs you can sing and dance to, then a history/storytelling part about how he came up with some song ideas and a cute joke about "Don't Rock The Jukebox" (or should I say "Juice Box").  lol  Smiley  Then he does some more songs you can sing and dance to, then the final encore.  I was really surprised, but absolutely LOVED the ending---"I want to love you like a lover should.  You're fine, so kind.  Got to tell the world that you're mine mine mine..."................OOOHHHH WHAT A THRILL!!!

Alan,  Thank you for the cd, "Precious Memories."  It came out just shortly after my wonderful Uncle Bob passed and really helped me cry and grieve.  Now, I want to tell you thanks on behalf of myself and my Gma Thelma.  She died on Tuesday, the 15th at about 9:15 p.m. and they played it for her a lot that day.  She loved country music, but only went and bought a few cds.  She usually listened to the oldies on the local channel.

On Sunday, I visited her.  She was alert and had her wits about her, but her body was fading.  She has had cancer since January and God gave her most of the year.  I had been restless trying to sleep Friday and Saturday and knew she was afraid of letting go.  I went and hugged her, held her hand, kissed her cheek, and we both said, "I love you SO much!"  She had told me two weeks before that she thought she was going and that she'd be okay and the Lord would take care of her.  Well, I could feel she had gotten scared, so I told her Sunday, "No matter what happens, whichever way this goes, you're gonna be okay.  You're gonna be okay, Gram."  I was able to hold her and comfort her.  She was an amazing person.

They told me she went into a coma on Monday, then woke up Tuesday for a bit.  She was talking to the spirits of her loved ones that have passed.  They played your cd a lot for her that day 'cause she really liked gospel and your voice.  I want to thank you for helping her hear the truth and relax enough to let go so she could go peacefully and not be afraid.  Sincerely, Jackie
