I was not disappointed at all!! It was very quick for sure...I did end up wearing the jacket I won at the 1997 fan club party in Nashville...Good thing I did it was so cold!! When we got back there in line Alans road manager came out a new one I am used to Tony Stevens Don't know whats up with that! Anyway his manager was explaining how things were gonna go as he walked by me I asked him If maybe I could get this pic signed was a 8x10 photo from the fan club party 1997 where I won the jacket and a pair of jeans! Road manager said thats not him I said yes it is my hands were full so I told him open the jacket and look at the inside and he did anyway he said you can ask Alan he might sign it!! Well when we got up there I said to Alan does this jacket look familiar he said ahh yeah I think I had one like that I asked him if he would sign my photo he said sure whats your name darlin i told him he said is that with a y I said yes...I told him I would have wore the jeans but they don't fit he said they probably wouldn't fit me anymore either he chuckled and did get eye contact from him, he also said nice jacket and I said it kept me warm today it was cold out!! As I walked away I shook his hand again and said good to see you again he said good to see you!! Then we were handed a pic that was already signed by him...The show was great he sang a lot of his older stuff only one song from the new cd you don't have to love me anymore...I was hoping to here dixie highway and long way to go...but love his older stuff as well!! He was nice....When I got the email from Cindy it said the passes would not be ready til an hour before the show my husband and I decided to check at about 645 to walk up to box office to check and good thing we did omg the meet and greet was at 715 they told me that they would promptly take people back if your not there then you loose out office people there was kinda rued anyway we went down to the west end I didn't see anyone else that had the white envelope like me I am thinking I am n the wrong spot...well the fair worker said you just come with us I said ok great!! anyway I hope all the fan club members that got meet and greets got there in time!!! Molly did you get your meet and greet I thought maybe I would run into to you!! all and all it was a great night...it did start to rain I brought a a plastic bag along in case it rained wanted to take his jacket off and put my aj on tour denim jacket on....so I did!! Great fun!!  THANKYOU CINDY HART!!

For anyone who has had a meet and greet at a show, is there anyway you could let me know what to expect I have met Alan twice before  but never at a show!! Years ago I heard stories from people other fans even that he's  very quiet and don't say much, and a lot of the time no eye contact!! I can't imagine it being that way! Is it like a rush rush type of thing? If anyone could maybe tell me some of their  experiences would greatly appreciate it!! I am excited but nervous! thank you so much fellow AJ fans...

I am also going to the show tonight, we are planning on leaving a bit early also, as 1 we have never been there, and so far the weather isn't looking real good I am in Kalamazoo Mi and its thundering and  awful dark in the skies hoping it clears up before we head out!! I also opened my email a week ago Friday and had been chose for a meet and greet I was so excited been in Alans fan club for many years excluding a few when my life went in to shambles when my husband passed away....In all the years I have followed his career and traveled out of state even, this is the very first time I have ever got a meet and greet before a show so hang hang there to those who have never had one you turn will come!! Hoping for a great night!!

I am also from Kalamazoo and I live about a mile from there I will be going there to check out for sure!!

I actually won the jacket and a pair of jeans that year 1997!! Well 10 years ago or so I could fit into the jeans, well not any more LOL....They are like 30-41....very long....I am still debating on the jacket I have never been to a meet and greet before a show I am assuming it is rush rush as it sounds like the meet and greet is in between shows!! We shall see...My Husband thinks I should wear it also!! y'all will know it when you see it!!!! Dad came home today so hopefully all stays good with him for the next few days!!!!

I did get a meet and greet for the show on the 22 of sept....first one ever and I have been following his career since 1991....I am excited and was really surprised when I looked in my email and saw a email from Cindy Hart subject box saying your meeting Alan...I think god may have been watching me or something my dad is very sick I have been worried sick about him to the point that I almost forgot I bought tix for the show...He is terminal and is in the hospital right now but feeling better hopefully be home on Tuesday! Made my spirits rise for a bit!! Then to get the email wow!! Thank you Cindy Hart!!!

I am excited I got a email from Cindy Hart on Friday saying I was chosen to have a meet and greet with ALAN back stage at the Centerville fair in Michigan next Saturday... I won a Jacket that was Alans in 1997 at the fan club party wanted opinions I  was thinking about wearing it to the show to begin with but now that I am going to get to meet him should I still wear it??? Can somebody please tell me how to insert a picture to a post, I went to additional options on the post page says the file is to large so I resized it to lesser size than it requires well now it comes up error,,,I would greatly appreciate any advice from anyone...Thankyou in advance.
