I've been seeing Alan in concert for 27 years.
To say tickets have gotten more expensive would be an understatement.
I can remember paying $14.00 to see him at a county fair.

Ticketmaster's fees (25%) are a large part of this problem.
And those VIP packages...INSANE !!  I've had some of them think they have special privileges at the actual show. Wrong, your seat is the same as mine.

We have "Willy" stations that play the older stuff. So I hear Alan on there quite a bit.
In the Pittsburgh, PA area I get them @ 103.5 and 95.1
I listen to that mostly because our other so called "country stations" are not country.
I say to myself....."Who thinks Sam Smith is country?"

When did you go ?

And which tickets did you buy ?
Were they Fan Club or VIP ?

MCR wrote  "Paid $800. for 2 tickets to the show in Erie, Pa.  Just so we could meet Alan Jackson.  Never Happened! 
So what was the extra money for???  Thanks alot!!! "

I assume you bought VIP- Good Time Experience for $401 each.
Those come through CID Entertainment and aren't Fan Club Seats.

I really don't understand how those VIP seats affect the FC seats.

I rejoined FC because I'm seeing Alan in 2018 come hell or high water. 
There's a show in Pgh. March  24th. The venue is TBA.

I always tell people....
"I am normal....... except when it comes to Alan"

I have been to your beautiful country and so far it's our best vacation ever.
We did lots of scuba diving and went to the Red Center.

We also stayed at Hinchinbrook Island in the Tree Houses. Incredible !!
"Creek to Coast" did a documentary while we were there.  We were in that documentary !!
