I want to ask all of you to continue to pray for my favorite female singer: Loretta Lynn,for her to make a complete recovery from the stroke,and for healing from the fractured hip.

Loretta has bounced back before from broken and injured bones in the past.And with everyones prayers,and God's help,she will do it again.

I was listening to WSM-AM 650 last week and heard them play Alan's new song "The Older I Get".

I might add,besides phone & e-mail,you can also request Alan's new song on WSM's website.Just click on the request a song on the stations website.

Well,while Christmas is over,I was in our local Cracker Barrel in nearby Florence KY on Monday,and noticed they had Alan's "Let It Be Christmas" on Vinyl Record.

Sorry I did not know about this until this past Monday,but I wanted to mention it anyway so that those of you who have Vinyl Record players can maybe get one from your local Cracker Barrel.

Hey,you can always get it now,so you can be ready for Christmas 2018.Right?

Alan & George Strait are two of my favorite male singers.Loretta is my favorite female singer!

What a joy for me to see three of my favorite singers together,at a special event!

I don't get on this forum as much as I used to either. Seems like country radio in Indiana all but ignores Alan & true country artists. I just keep playing all my CDs & try to watch him on TV when I know he's on. I loved the respect he was shown on the ACM Honors show. Alan did a great job with George's songs & seemed to enjoy himself too. I've still never got to meet him. Not sure why the meet & greets stopped. Safety's a big issue in this country now. It's understandable. I wish everyone well😁

I don't know what part of Indiana you are in,but WKID-FM 95.9 in Vevay IN play's Alan's songs.They even played songs from Alan's "Angels And alcohol" CD.

WWBL-FM 106.5 in Vincenns IN also plays Alan's songs.

Radio don't always play it even if it is promoted.

Just saw the News!!! Alan is a new member of the Country Music hall of fame!!!

Alan,I am truly sorry to hear about your mom.It is a rough time,that's a given.You,Denise and your family are in my prayers.

There is no doubt she is with Jesus and your dad in heaven.

Last Friday,I was in our local Union KY Walgreens store.Now,usually,I don't hear any Country @ any Walgreens.But,to my surprise,while in Walgreens,guess what started playing?

Alan's "Gone country"! Isnt that great?

Anyway,just had to share this with you all.

I don't listen too much to the big name local stations in my area anymore.They don't play what we the fans wanna hear.I do listen to WNKR-FM 106.7 in Dry ridge KY,or WKID-FM 95.9 in Vevay IN,as far as local stations for me go.They DO play what the fans wanna hear. They play Alan's songs.(WKFI-AM 1090 is another local station that does too,in Wilimington Ohio.I listen to them too.You can get this station in Cincinnati Ohio).

Otherwise,I listen to WSM-AM 650 in Nashville at night.Or I will listen to KRNH (923 the ranch) on line from Kereville TX.They play a lot of Alan's songs.

And I listen to Sirius XM Sattelitte radio too.Plus CD's.

In addition to Country,I also enjoy Bluegrass & Southern Gospel music.

Well,I was just listening to Enlighten,on SiriusXM Sattelite radio,which plays Southern Gospel,
and they played Alan's "Standing On The Promises".

This station has played gospel songs by Alan before,as well as gospel songs from Loretta Lynn,Joey & Rory and Tennessee Ernie ford.

And,of course,they play Southern gospel groups too.It's on SiriusXM Channel 65.

Just wanted to share with y'all it's great to hear Alan's gospel songs on the radio.
