That is the fanclub presale code.  That's what you need to buy them.  Just log on right before they go on sale and click on the show for wich you want to buy tix.  Plug in the presale code and off you go.

Good luck.

Fanclub sale is right now.  General public sale is Friday.

The link is there now.  Somebody forgot to put a link on the site but my friend brought it to their attention.

Closest row for non VIP tix is row 10.

The presales are getting worse.   Go over to the Berglund Center and buy them on their site. There is no link on the fanclub site.  They need to get it together.

6  General Category / Live Show and Tour Discussion / Re: COUNTRY HALL OF FAME - ARTIST IN RESIDENCE CONCERT ON OCTOBER 8TH on: October 02, 2014, 09:43:07 pm
I'll be flying down to see the October 22nd show.  Sorry we'll miss each other.  My friend and I will be meeting Leah there for the 22nd as well.  She's going to both shows.
7  General Category / Live Show and Tour Discussion / FAN CLUB OFFICE - PLEASE READ - CONFUSION ABOUT NASHVILLE ANNIV. SHOWS- on: August 29, 2014, 12:13:31 pm
The notice on the FC page about these special concerts reads like you need to buy a Hall of Fame membership to get tix.    I called the Hall of Fame - they say no.  It's EITHER an AJ Fanclub membership OR a HOF membership but not both.  I've had emails from friends who think you need to buy both.   Please verify for us BEFORE the tix go on sale.

A limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available to museum and Alan Jackson fan club members beginning Friday, September 5 at 10:00 a.m.  For your chance to purchase tickets in this pre-sale, become a museum member by Sunday, August 31. Visit countrymusichalloffame.org to find out more about becoming a museum member.  - See more at: http://www.alanjackson.com/news.html?n_id=4690#sthash.qgg1KBDo.dpuf

Second - Will there be a Fan club Passcode to buy tix?   When I spoke with the Hall of Fame staff, they said they didn't know but they'd like someone from the FC office to review this with them.

Please advise here for all to see.

Thanks in advance.

p.s.  I have the email of the young lady I spoke with at the HOF if you need it.

Per Cindy:

Hey there Brenda!  Oh no, both members of Alan's Fan Club and the Hall of Fame will have opportunity for presale. You'll go through Fan Club section of website to access pre-sale tickets Smiley

Correct - I wrote that in my message above (that came from the HOF) - AJ Fanclub and HOF members will get the presale.

I was just at the venue we saw Alan at on Saturday and there was no pit for that venue.

Thanks for responding, arkansas.  As to the audience structure and pricing - no, that is incorrect.  Alan has control on the audience configuration, not the venue.  And I've been to many, many shows at Mohegan Sun.  None of them have had standing pits.
12  General Category / Live Show and Tour Discussion / Re: Anyone seen a recent show? Wondering if he sings more old or new music? on: August 11, 2014, 02:23:22 pm
I would love it if Alan sang songs from his Bluegrass and Gospel Albums at his concerts!  Mix in a bit of everything.  How cool would that be?

I would LOVE this idea to happen!!

Yes.  It's not right.
14  General Category / Live Show and Tour Discussion / Re: Issues with recent concert seating and barriers on: August 11, 2014, 02:17:11 pm
I guess we didn't explain it correctly.   Here's what happened:

I'll use my friend, Ray, as an example because he bought 2nd row seats for he and his wife.   However, when he got there, there was a barrier in front of row 1.  In front of the barrier, there was a standing group of people.  Probably about 100 or so.  No seats - all standing.   So they had the spots in front of the stage.  Ray should have been in front, 2 rows back but he was probably the equivalent of 10 rows back with a bunch of people standing in front of him all night.

This wasn't done to be cautious about anything.  That doesn't make sense.  They were just attendees like everyone else.   Ray showed up thinking he'd be 2 rows in front of the stage.  He wasn't - essentially the people standing in front of him all night were in his 2nd row seat.   He was crushed.

Last year I flew to Nashville and and went to Carnegie Hall to see Alan.  I live in the Boston area.  If I had spent big money on travel & lodging to get to the venue and see my ticket wasn't what it was supposed to be (because there was a big pit of people in front of me), I would lose my temper all over the venue.  Right is right and wrong is wrong.  This is just WRONG!  Period.

It's no different than a bait and switch.  I'm wrong about a lot of things, but not about this.

Will anxiously wait for a reply here from the Fanclub.

Not a happy camper.
