After seeing Alan last year with great presale ticket seats, but having to stand the entire time because of the PIT......I decided to get tickets by the side of the stage (green section).  Looks like you can select green section but it doesn’t tell you where you’ll be. The green section is a large area that goes around the entire venu. So, I still have not purchased tickets. I hate to miss it since it’s my home town but don’t want to be clear in the upper back. Maybe because the NRA is sponsoring this concert, it’s being handled differently. Any ideas?

It’s been awhile since Alan’s been to the Opry too, I think.

OIt was even worse today trying to get tickets. I think resales have bought them all up. I guess we’ll have to wait & see if they televise it sometime. Fingers crossed. 

I tried for hours to get tickets on the presale yesterday, hitting one roadblock after another. Then the same seats would show up at highly inflated prices. Later yesterday, the Ticketmaster site said all the presale tickets were gone. YIKES! Guess I'm not going! 

I got mine after the New Year. Happy to get it though!!

It will be a great concert & tribute to Loretta.  It’s really great that we AJ fans can get Pre-sale tickets for it through the fan club beginning tomorrow. Otherwise tickets are not available until Friday the 18th.

I would love to go see it.

I’ve seen him perform live many times.  He was definitely limping. I too hope he’s better now. He was in great spirits that night & said Denise was there too somewhere.

I went to Alan’s concert in Indianapolis last night. It was truly spectacular. Runaway June did a great job!  Alan appeared to be limping across the stage all night. I’ve seen him
Perform many times & never seen him like this. Maybe he has some arthritis like me, which makes me limp as well. Does anyone know?

I enjoyed the concert except that we had to stand the entire show due to the many people in the PITS. Not sure what those people paid for their tickets but it was disappointing for us on the Floor where tickets were pretty high. Has anyone else had this experience? It would actually be better to get a cheaper seat up at the sides as they gradually get higher & i didn’t see them having to stand.
