THE COUNTRY MUSIC CHANNELL here in australia yesterday premiered the 8 hours of footage from theCMC ROCKS THE HUNTER at which AJ performed..Alan featured in the last segment. of this show for alomost an hour..Even though i went to 2 of his concerts here inBrisbane it sure was great seeing almost half of his concert on television--hope the rest of Australia was watching also..

I thought i had set it so anyone could see them-will go back and see what i can do as i really want to let people see my photos as they really good i think..Will see what other options i can come up with..thanks for your imput BHR..

Has anyone tried the link i posted to my photos from the Brisbane concert--Kurt said he had no luck with the link..

We went to both the Thursday and Friday concert here in Brissy--thurdsay night sat way up high in the almost nose-bleed section but friday night had 4th row from the front almost right in line wit AJ..(Thanks to the FANCLUB PRESALE)/ When we saw him doing some signing from the stage at the end of the show on the thursday we were determined to get close enough on the friday night with a photo of my husband and myself that was taken backstage at the GRAND OLE OPRY back in JUNE 1992.. when our aussie mate Barry Coburn was AJ'S MANAGER.
Just before he came back out for the encore we got to the front of the stage (some wonderful people who saw my photo and knew i hoped to get it signed-they let me get in front of them..THANK YOU THANK YOU-YOU REALLY HELPED MAKE MY NIGHT A DREAM COME TRUE).. Anyway AJ strolled across the stage signing hats and tee shirts for people and the he was coming to end of the stage where i was holding up the photo...He saw it and gave me that big wonderful smile and said something but i couldn't hear from the noise of the band. As i was a bit far away from the actual stager he steped off onto one of the  speakers to get the photo from me and after almost 19 years i got the photo signed!!!!What a night-what a concert-WHAT A MAN!!!! Wish i was going again tonight...

New tickets go on sale for Alan Jackson

Fri 11 February 2011-A new and limited release of tickets to all five of country music legend Alan Jackson’s previously sold-out Australian standalone concerts will go on-sale 9am (local time) this coming Tuesday February 15 from Ticketek – www.ticketek.com.au or 132 849.

Touring Australia for the first time, with special guest, country music hottie, Miranda Lambert, Alan Jackson’s four east coast concerts sold out faster than a speeding freight train when they went on sale in October last year. A third Brisbane concert was added, taking the tour to five, and sold out just as fast.

Promoter, Michael Chugg, Executive Chairman of Chugg Entertainment, chuckled back then, “country’s the new heavyweight”.

And a knock out probably – it’s sure to be a quick round on Tuesday when Alan Jackson’s new tickets open for sale!

Alan Jackson also headlines, with Miranda Lambert, CMC Rocks The Hunter – the biggest international country music lineup ever in Australia – at the Hope Estate in the Hunter Valley, held across the weekend of March 5 & 6. Tickets still available.

My husband and i both received our fan club packages on thursday..fab photos of Alan included..it was raining over here that day and my envelope got wet and this wonderful photo got "stuck " to something else in the envelope aand the photos is now wrecked in one corner--could have killed the postie for not being more careful..anyway thanks to the fan club for everything..
We are sitting in section 47 row AD on the friday night concert-four rows from the front almost direct in front of Alan..should be able to get some good photos..might take my "REAL CAMERA" so i can zoom in for some closeup shots.I have a digi cam also but like my real camera better..the staff at the entertainment centre usually try to stop you from taking photos ---like to see them try to contol the camera action on those nights--no way jose!!

Let's hope the AJ fans who have missed out on tickets to the sold out shows can get to this festival to see Alan..What a great line-up they will get to see..hope a couple of the other USA artists can do other venues whlie they are in OZ..would love to see EMERSON DRIVE AND BUXTON HUGHES do a show here in Brisbane..last year a few of the artists from this festival did a show at a small downtown venue here in Brissy..

I have tried to contact EBAY to lodge a complaint but can't find a category in their "contact us" to fit my complaint..
how can i contact the fan club prez. Cindy . to let them know--there is one particular listing at present that closes in around 24 hours that is making a huge profit at this time..and states they got the tickets from fan club..it's not fair to the people who really wanted to go to the concert and missed getting tickets.

Was surprised to find tickets for auction on ebay by someone stating he/she obtained tickets through AJ FAN CLUB PRESALE..sure wish Ebay would stop people from  ticket overpricing concert tickets..
I actually recieved my concert tickets in the mail yesterday andnow have to find somewhere safe to put them for the next 5 months..
