Hi Jeri,

That will be so nice for you to go see Alan in Jacksonville.  I hope your husband will be well enough to go with you.  Hope all is well with you.  I am not on here as much as I used to be.  But I do miss the conversations we all had on here a few years back.  Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc are all taking over.  I do talk to some on facebook that used to be on here too.   I kept more up to date on here with everything then I do on FB.  I just retired last month from work and I still find it hard to get on here and  on any social network and keep up to date with everything.  I just have so many other things to do.  But it is nice that I do see a few AJ fans on here that I recognize.  Well keep well, and hope to keep in touch once in awhile.

As you all know Ben, Mattie's husband passed away this morning. This is what Alan's brother-in-law said:

To all of you who have been so kind to pray for Mattie and Ben....Ben went to be with the Lord he loved, earlier this morning. Our prayers are for Mattie, as she is absolutely crushed by this. We are all heartbroken. Ben was one of those guys that you only had to meet him once and he was always like an old friend. Fly high, my brother!

My deepest condolences to Mattie, and two both families Jacksons and Selecmans.  RIP Ben.

I am so heartbroken for Mattie.  My thoughts and prayers are with you Mattie and to both families on the passing of Ben. 

Prayers are with you Alan for a speedy recovery. Your fans are all wishing you to get well soon. Make sure you get lots of rest.

Not sure if you remember me.  I used to be on here frequently, but life gets busy.  Alan, sure does deserve this award.  He is an awesome songwriter.  I do agree with you about Garth. How did he ever get this award before Alan.  Never been a big fan of Garth. Don't mind a few songs he has done, but he is not Alan.

I don't go on here as often as I should.  But it looks like alot of people are not on here anymore.  I am on Facebook but not as often either.  Just don't have the time.  I do see JeriMS is still on here.
Trying to keep up with everything is impossible.  I hope everyone is doing okay.  I want to wish Happy Thanksgiving for all my friends who are celebrating it this week in the United States.

HI Jeri.  Yes i was a regular on here before too.  Now most people use twitter or facebook.  I use facebook.  But I do miss being on here.  I just find I don't have the time like I used too.  Just too much things to do.  I do come on here occasionally just to see what people have been up to and what's new on the site. 

Thanks for replying to my question.  I  got the VIP package 3 and I just want to know when they let you know where to meet the host as you get to go to the venue early.  I got my tickets on line and nothing was mentioned.

I emailed Cindy twice, and I got no response.

Alan, Denise, Mattie, Ali, and Dani, I am so sorry to hear about Momma Ruth. I never got to meet her in person but from what  I have read she seemed like a wonderful person. I hope all the wonderful memories that you shared with her, help you through this difficult time..

It has been a long time since I have written on here.  Not sure who is still on here from when I was on here alot.  I see JeriMS is still here.  I am on Facebook but not on Twitter as often, as I find it confusing.  They seem to play alot of Alan's music on our radio station here in Canada.  KX96 in Ontario.    I have just been so busy in my life that I seldom have the time to get on here.   I hope everyone is doing okay.  I haven't been to an Alan concert since I went to Nashville to see him for his 25th Anniversary concert  in October 2014.  He has not had a concert in Ontario, Canada since.  We are waiting for him to come. 

I am late.  But I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.  Have not received my Christmas card from Alan yet, but I am in Canada and it usually gets to me late.  Always sometime in January.  Cindy and the Fan Club, I want to thank you for all the things you do for us keeping this fan club going.  I wish everyone a healthy and a wonderful 2016.   Bless you all.  Anita.

I know I may be a few minutes early, but I live in Ontario, Canada and we are 1 hour ahead.

I am glad I can enjoy this same day, as it is my wedding anniversary today too.  It will be an amazing 17 years today.
