I have been a member of Alan's fan club since 1994 and I have been an AJ fan since 1989 when I saw his first video Blue Blooded Woman on CMT! YEEHAW!  Smiley

I am moderatly young (14) so I can't say I was around during the beggining but my dad has always loved him and I have basically been listening to him since I was a baby...I didn't really start liking him though and getting music from him on my own until I was 13 so I am a moderatly new fan but that doesn't mean I love him any less! hahaha I joined the club about 2 weeks ago

I have been a fan of Alan's since 1990.  I heard him on TV show "Austin City Limits" and he was singing "Here in the Real World".  I have been hooked ever since.  I joined the fan club in 2002.  I have been to six of his concerts and I am going to both of them in Orillia, Canada - September 24th and 25th.  I have front row seats for both.  I am looking forward to this so much.

SINCE HEARING AND SEEING HIM SING "WHERE WERE YOU..." SOME AWARD SHOW SHORTLY AFTER 9-11.  I WAS JUST STUNNED BY THE WORDS, AND HIS BEAUTIFUL, SENSITIVE HANDLING OF THAT SONG.  FRANKLY, I WAS NEVER MUCH OF A COUNTRY MUSIC FAN UNTIL THEN, AND EVEN NOW, THO THERE ARE OTHERS I ENJOY, ALAN IS THE ONE AND ONLY IN MY BOOK.  I ALWAYS ESPECIALLY LOVE HIS HANDLING OF LOVE SONGS.
