Last night at Carnegie Hall was great!  Alan and all the musicians were fabulous.... LeeAnn Womack came out and sang a song with Alan, and Alan's nephew, Adam Wright performed ( with Aj)   the song he wrote, "Ain't Got Trouble Now".....of course Alan recognized everyone on stage and gave them credit for their talents......He talked between each song, commenting  and/ or telling little "tidbits" about each song and some experiences he remembered from past trips to NYC.  Carnegie Hall is a special place and it was obvious Alan respects it and the opportunity to again perform there...He was his charming self and of course pleased the audience by appropriately singing "Where Were You ( When the World Stopped Turning)" in addition to the Bluegrass songs.
The sound of Alan in Carnegie Hall was absolutely thrilling for me.
One negative was the distraction caused by people with their cameras, phones/ electronic devices throughout the performance after being asked TO TURN THEM OFF.  I just thought people could have been more respectful in this special venue.
BUT, AJ had MY attention and I enjoyed every minute of his entertaining!

Just went to vote for Blue Ridge Mountain Song and it's not listed on CMT anymore.  Why???  Voted on GAC, where it is #3 this week again - that's the fans speaking!  Also, don't forget to vote on GAC for the Top 50 videos of the year - Blue Ridge is on that list too!

Song is still on CMT Pure 12pack (http://www.cmt.com/show/cmt_pure_12_pack_countdown/voting.jhtml) but for some reason left off the countdown.   Strange as it is number three on GAC.   Oh well, we will still keep voting where we can.
