I was surprised too when it wasn't on CMT Top Twenty - don't understand that.  I vote all the time and watch the video a lot!

I am new to all this, but Alan Jackson is my favorite singer/songwriter/performer and all round gentleman/family man. Can someone explain to me why he's dropped off the CMT list already, while he is #1 on the GAC list. I must admit I don't understand the vast difference in interest.

Also, our local country station WWKI has a daily request line Cafe Country from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. through the week. JR told me for a couple of weeks, there were 7 or 8 people calling in for SYDHTLMA, and then this last week, interest seemed to drop off. I think this is one of his best songs in a long time.

I have been watching the CMT video, voting and voting on GAC. Is there anything else we can do?

I understand everyones frustration. I watch, vote, and request daily. With Alan touring and promoting the song, it should be doing better. I don't get it. Long Way To Go without all the promoting did better. Infact the radio stations in my area play it more than SYDLMA. Not giving up!!!!!

SYDHTLMA is higher on the charts than Long Way to Go ever reached.

I never see Alan's songs on CMT very often.  The new one never made it.  On GAC, it just went from #1 to #2.
Don't get it.  It's a great song and his voice is better than ever.

Would love to see Alan this year if he woud come to Detroit area.  I have to have elevators.
Windsor Casino or The Palace would be super.  I know they're trying to get the young crowd but
they will come.  It doesn't have to be a Festival where us Seniors can't do all that walking.

I love him even if I can only watch him on "ON Demand" but it would be nice to see him this year again.
