I want to wish my son  Sgt Joe a Happy Veterans Day today, I am proud of your 10 plus years of service to our country every day but this day is special.

 Also want to wish my dear friends son Master Sgt Darin a Happy Veterans Day also, his mom is in Heaven but we both are so proud of you!

 These two young men decided to honor their country by serving  at a time when their peers were going to college and they spent some of their best money making years serving in areas none of us would want to be.

 My son  also was an honor guard for funerals in Calif  for a couple of years , he gave up his Sat off to practice to do this, proud of hi for doing this also.

 Thanks to all of the other Veterans out there also, George Strait and George Jones are two country stars I know that served their country also.

I find it strange that on none of Alans pages there is no mention of the death of Joey's daughter, you would think on his home page under news there would be something but so far I have yet to find anything.

Alan still hasn't been inducted, I sometimes wonder if it is because he doesn't appear very often on the Opry .

I just ordered mine thru Wal Mart this am, I can't wait for it, I will get it on Nov 10th thru the mail.

The show was done several months ago, this is the DVD of it so the listed songs are the ones Alan sang.This was on TV when it happened.

He didn't do the show in South Dakota, I am still hoping it will be back on the schedule , it wasn't cancelled yet so maybe he will do it, I will be heartbroken if he doesn't, it would have been the only chance I had to see him.

Somehow you have gotten mixed up on this song, Alan's nephew Adam wrote the song but Alan sings it.

I got my card, I like it but wish he would use a picture in other things then that blue shirt-lol.

I have no idea why I am watching this, so far I haven't seen one person that by any stretch could be called a country singer, this will be the last time I watch, this new music isn't country and the industry should be ashamed to put this junk out there.It isn't even good pop music.

 Alan and George were right when they sang " Murder on Music Row".

I happened to buy the new Legends magazine and was pretty disappointed in it, it just had their picture and a short write up about them, not really worth the money except for being able to read about the really old singers which had interesting info.I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this.We can get the same info about most of them on their web sites.
