I have been unable to get tix. thru the presale.  Anyone have a passcode?  I've lost 3 sets of tix becasue the site's blocking me.  Not happy!

Looks like you're probably right.  I read that it was the 5th annual benefit concert so I assumed Alan performed at it every year.   Hopefully he does again this year. 

The article I read was dated January 17, 2013 so I'm assuming if he decides to host it again this year, the announcement will be soon.  Fingers crossed....

Hopefully they'll announce soon if he's going to hold the show again this year.   Last year my friend and I spent time in Nashville and drove to Memphis to visit Graceland and Sun Studios.  It was an awesome trip and I have a few things I still want to do due to time constraints last time.   Can't wait!

If I see it and you miss it, I'll send you a message (and vice versa, please).   I think they released the date in January.  I remember taking the day off of work so I could log on and get tix. 

I lost my job after 15 years and need to look for a new one.  I'd like to know when the concert is so I can tell prosepctive employers I need the time off to go to Nashville.   This work stuff is really interfering with my life!  haha!

This new calendar is beautiful.  It's especially nice because it gives facts about AJ's long career and some milestones he made along the way.  Beautiful photos, too.   It celebrates the anniversary of hiscareer so it's got all kinds of little facts contained on it that I didn't know.  I'm very happy with it.  Great job!

Last year I flew down from Boston to attend the charity concert at the Ryman that benefits the Color Rectal charity Denise (and Alan) are involved in.   I think he holds it every year & I'm planning to go again.   Hope they announce the date soon!

Can you guys offer some nice, canvas tote bags with Alan's logo?  I have a plain one I use for clothes etc. when I go away for weekends and when I need to carry stuff to work.

Can you order some men's cut T-shirts in colors other than black?  I'm tall (almost 6') so woman's sizes don't work.  Plus, I hate black. 

A logo'd CD case to store the AJ CDs I keep in the car.

I just placed my first order since the site was update.  I need to remember to come to this thread if I have problems with the site.  It wasn't taking my order but then I came here and it said we all had to re-register so i did.  Went through without a hitch.  I'm bad.

I enjoyed it, too, but felt Alan didn't get enough camera time. 

Wish I was going to be attending the George Jones tribute concert this month.  It's gonna be really special, I'm sure.

Bostonhonkytonk, I felt like I was right there at the concert.  A great review.  So glad you got to go.  I saw Alan in Nashville in March also.  That was a great show.  The comments you said he made during the Carnegie show sound like the comments when he was at The Station.  Love his sense of humor.

I've been talking to a bunch of my AJ friends on facebook.  A bunch of us are going to try to go to see him in a group next March if he does this show again.  I think we got word about it in January last time.  I'll be keeping an eye open for news of the coming years' plan for a repeat at the Ryman.  It was a GREAT time and definately worth travelling from Boston to attend again.
