Hi Jedda, I am going to the Brisbane concerts. Are you going to all concerts, lucky you!!!!
I reckon Alan should just agree to meet all his Aussie Fanclub members since we have waited sooooo long for him to come & visit us here hahaha. Seriously though, good luck to everyone who is waiting to hear about the M&G's, fingers crossed for us all.
Not long to go now, yipee!!
Hey Summertime..........i totally agree with you that AJ should have a Aussie meet for all his Fanclub members.......|I'm only going to his Sydney concert - wasn't sure if it was going to allow us to put in for meet n greet at other venues if you didn't have a ticket.......so i did it and it went through........so i just have to wait and see, anyway never know might get one for all concerts lol.lol.......if i get one i get one....if i don't i'll still be happy cause I will get to see him anyway!!!.........and yes.....not long to go now!!!........yahoooooooo!!!

Just posted on the CMC website.. New tickets go on sale for Alan Jackson Fri 11 February 2011-A new and limited release of tickets to all five of country music legend Alan Jackson’s previously sold-out Australian standalone concerts will go on-sale 9am (local time) this coming Tuesday February 15 from Ticketek – www.ticketek.com.au or 132 849. Touring Australia for the first time, with special guest, country music hottie, Miranda Lambert, Alan Jackson’s four east coast concerts sold out faster than a speeding freight train when they went on sale in October last year. A third Brisbane concert was added, taking the tour to five, and sold out just as fast. Promoter, Michael Chugg, Executive Chairman of Chugg Entertainment, chuckled back then, “country’s the new heavyweight”. And a knock out probably – it’s sure to be a quick round on Tuesday when Alan Jackson’s new tickets open for sale! Alan Jackson also headlines, with Miranda Lambert, CMC Rocks The Hunter – the biggest international country music lineup ever in Australia – at the Hope Estate in the Hunter Valley, held across the weekend of March 5 & 6. Hi All AJ fans............As you all know Jimmy Buffett is one of AJ's bestest friends.
Jimmy was recently in Australia and was performing on the 26th January at the Hordern Pavillion in Sydney and during one of his songs he fell off the stage...........he was rushed to the local hospital and was kept a couple of days for observation...........from what i've heard he is OK........thank goodness.
So AJ if you read any of these posts.......please give my best wishes to Jimmy and hope that he will return to Australia to do some more concerts.

You lucky Aussie fans! I can see why you're so excited! I have been to see him in my native Canada & also in the US & believe me, he is worth waiting for. So glad he is finally coming to see you! Don't forget...we need some reviews when you see him! What an exciting time for all of you!

G'day Carol............we have been waiting 15 years to see AJ come down under......and now were 25 days away and from what i have read on here people are travelling from all corners of the world......it is so exciting!!!
And don't worry will give you all the updates and photos!!

Jedda sorry about my mistake on how many days so now it is 26 days....I read where you are flying your
family in from NW WA where is that location...We are so happy that you all are going to ge to see the
big tall blond...What a treat you are getting....I hope you get a M and G ..that would be a real treat.
We will be waiting on your reviews the excitement sounds like it is growing....
G'day DizzyDean...........now its 25 days!..........i live in Wollongong which is about an hour and a half south of Sydney on the coast.........the person that is coming from WA is Louluk......and just to let you know that WA is a long way from Sydney it takes about 5 hours to fly to Sydney from Perth and depends where Louluk lives in the North West - it will take her another couple of hours to get to Perth or she might have a direct flight.........and i'm sure she mentioned she is going to see him at his Brisbane concert......so that can add another 1-2 hours.
There sure is so much excitement and people travelling from all corners of the globe.......it is so wonderful to see.

I can really hear the excitement in all of your posts!!! We have heard about the devastating floods you have experienced. Now I am reading about a massive cyclone that is about to hit. I have been throught a category 5 hurricane, so I will be keeping all of you in my prayers.
Yes thats right AJTexasfan..........the people of Queensland have not only suffered with devastating floods but just experienced a hurrican........and i only heard on the news today that there has been 1 fatality........but massive damage........very sad!! And yes we Aussies are so excited...........I can't wait......i'm in the third row from the stage and will be going to his Sydney concert......and I know I'm not going to be sittin down........i'll be standing right at the stage, blowing him kisses, takin photo's and hopefully get a chance to shake his hand........his visit is the biggest news in country music!!.........I don't think there has ever been so much excitement!!! |

YEAH!!! I cant wait either Jedda!!! We are flying our whole family from North West WA to Brisbane for his concerts!! It is something we have been waiting what seems like a lifetime for! I Can not wait to hear his songs live....
hello loulok...........wow wot a big trip that will be for all of you, where are you coming from..... .......although he is worth it eh!!!...........i have always dreamed of AJ comin to Australia..........and just can't believe he is now on his way........I am going to his Sydney concert......I am going to stay at one of the motel's right next to Acer Arena and then I'm makin sure I have a flexi day the next day!!!........never know might end up partyin with AJ........lol!!! |
