I really love LIVIN ON LOVE AND thank him for WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THE WORLD STOPPED TURINNG.  IT happen way to close to home for me.        You are the best ALAN                            nelle

My ignorance is showing.  I don't even know what 'bluegrass' music sounds like.  Can anyone tell me the names of people who regularly sing bluegrass so I can have a listen to it please?

Thanks.

Bill Monroe is the Father of Bluegrass Music.  Google him and you'll hear what bluegrass truely is. As a child I can remember visiting Ma & Pa in Breathitt Co. KY and sitting on the front porch. A friend of theirs would come down from up atop the mountain and  would play and sing bluegrass....  Memories made......

I would like for Alan to do a Bluesy type Album with lots of soul.
Some Bluegrass, I do not like when it's twangy.
Jeri

Country, blues, twang, gospel or whatever comes out of his heart and soul sounds good to me.

Hey, that BOLOGNA also taste pretty darn good especially with a fresh garden tomato.  Nothing like listening to AJ singing and eating a bologna sandwich.

I wonder why they asked this question. Do you think he is working on one and that is the connection that Alan and Cracker Barrel have that was mentioned on the old board. I miss the old  name of Keyboard and Wires.

I asked the question because it seems like allot of Alan's albums have one song in it that has a little bluegrass in it.  My husband and I both would love for Alan to put a bluegrass album out.  Who knows he may read the poll and give it a whirl.

I had some trouble signing in at the store to make a purchase.  I used my former login and password and it was denied access.  I may have to call my order in if I can't figure it out... I think it's just going to take some getting use to as is with all new sites. Grin

You'll have a "Good Time" tomorrow!

I ♥ "The Angels Cried" with Allison Krauss - I know its a X-mas song, but I listen to that song over and over and over all year long oh oh oh and Drive and Blues Man and gosh Softly & Tenderly from his gospel album.

This is strange... I dont like country music and all my life I've listened to hard rock and so forth, but when I listened to this mans voice, it all changed.  I've gone to every concert here in Southern Cali including Vegas.

Can't wait to see him tomorrow....

I think it would be cool to hear Alan do a bluegrass album. He could produce and record it himself.

Still finding my way.  Appears to be fairly easy to navigate.

I really can relate to  "The Way I Am" ..  Really just says alot.  I also thought he did a great job with Seven Bridges Road. Wish it would have been released.

20 years.  I'll never forget the first time I heard Alan Jackson, it was 1989 and have been a fan ever since.  Knew as soon as I heard him, he would make it big. I called my friend and said "you have to see this guy, he's not only good lookin' he's got a great voice".  From that day forward he's always been number 1 !
